I was just over at Ben's my space page and saw that Ben is going to be performing in Vancouver tomorrow with the band One Republic. You know they sing that song Apologize, which I love.


So anyway I decided to go over to their web site and register with the site. While I am over there I notice a post from one of their fans asking if there is an opening act for the show in Vancouver?! So what happens next you ask - out comes the jelenbean from new jersey destined to spread the word about Ben's music - lol!!

I decided to answer the post and while I was there decided to put in a little public relations work for Ben's music. So here is what I posted and I will see if I get any responses. I am hoping that their fans show up and see Ben - that way we get more Ben Jelen fans!!! So here is the link to the place where Ben is performing and here is what I posted on One Republic's site.

So go over and check out One Republic's music - it is good. Saw them on Smallville awhile back and liked the song but did not know who they were. Smallville - yet another Ben Jelen and One Republic connection - both had songs featured on Smallville. Ben's song Setting Of The Sun appeared on an episode called Obsession. Still cannot find the video but will keep looking.

Hello everyone I am new to this site and a new fan of New Republic. I saw this post and wanted to answer. There is an opening act for this show. His name is Ben Jelen and make sure you show up for him. He is an amazing singer and songwriter from NYC. I have seen him live and his shows are not to be missed.
